We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Community Staff Nurses to join our district nursing teams within Dudley Community Services. We have vacancies across various sites throughout the Borough. We want nurses who are committed to delivering high standards of care, are able to work as part of a team player, but also have the confidence to work independently without direct supervision.
We have Full Time, Part Time, Permanent and Fixed Term positions available. You will be assigned to work within one of 5 Clusters which cover the following areas:-
1. Coseley, Sedgley & Gornal
2. Dudley & Netherton
3. Kingswinford, Brierley Hill & Kinver
4. Halesowen & Quarry Bank
5. Stourbridge, Lye & Wollescote
We also have a great opportunity if you are interested in flexible shift patterns. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and motivated Community Staff Nurses to support our district nurse teams to deliver morning and evening medications to our most vulnerable diabetic patients.
Currently diabetic patients make up a significant portion of our caseload. We are looking for nurses to support these patients in their own homes with the administration of their medications aligned to their daily routines. This would be predominantly 08:00-11:00 and 15:00-18:00 hours, however, we can offer a number of flexible shift patterns and hours of work to suit your individual requirements.

The successful candidate will provide nursing care to patients within their own homes and in clinic settings.
You must have effective communication and interpersonal skills, be prepared to work flexibly and collaboratively to meet the needs of the service and demonstrate a willingness to extend and develop your existing skills. In return, we will offer you development opportunities, clinical supervision and mentorship support and deliver a formal induction programme.
This role falls under the Government mandatory requirement of vaccination against coronavirus. Unless you are medically exempt, the Trust will be required to ensure that you are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
