We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Project and Performance Manger to join the Business and Performance team within the Pharmacy department at Russell’s Hall Hospital. You would be responsible for the identifying Continuous Improvement Projects to ensure that the Pharmacy department are delivering a gold standard service to our patients who are at the heart of everything we do. Managing performance of our services ensuring that all Service Level Agreement’s are being achieved.

Main duties of the job

Leading continuous improvement projects to ensure a high quality and efficient department ·Support the Programme Manager in the department’s performance management ensuring robust monitoring of progress of all local & national targets including project plans, continuous improvement initiatives · Support the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to develop the Pharmacy Service ensuring best practice via project management that involves: · Assessing finances for potential service changes & business cases · Support The Programme Manger with managing service level agreements with customers both internal & external to the Trust · Performance management of external contracts & monitoring of SLA agreements ·Operational performance management within the Pharmacy department through the use of advanced data analysis, KPI Data  · Work with SLT in ensuring the provision & strategic development of a modern, patient-focused pharmacy service · Lead on implementing modernisation strategies to meet the national and local healthcare agenda · Lead on service productivity, efficiency & quality through process improvements · Lead on consistently monitoring KPI’s & develop action plans for variances · Work collaboratively with SLT in delivering high quality reports/plans/ procedures & policies · Lead data collection processes, analyse pharmacy KPI’s ensuring database is maintained to lead performance & improvement across the service/Divisions · Line manage & develop Pharmacy staff that include apprentices

Qualifications & Education

Essential criteria
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience and knowledge
  • Improvement/Change Management Qualification or equivalent experience and knowledge
  • Formal Project Management qualification (Prince 2, MSP, Lean Six Sigma) or equivalent level of experience and knowledge in project management
  • Management/leadership qualification or equivalent experience in people management

Knowledge & Training

Essential criteria
  • Experience delivering complex change in a challenging organisational environment
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development

Analytical & Judgement Skills

Essential criteria
  • Experience delivering complex change in a challenging organisational environment
