An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide efficient secretarial administration support to the Matron of the Emergency Department. This is a full-time post of 37.5 hours working Monday-Friday.
You will need to be highly motivated and able to work to a high standard as this role has a variety of duties required to help support a busy Matron and Lead Nurses. Ideally you will have previous secretarial experience and be efficient in Microsoft, as your work will entail using Word, Excel and N365 applications.
We are looking for a team player, who has excellent attention to detail skills, manages confidential information with total discretion, can work well under pressure and prioritise your workload.

To help with the recruitment appointment process in line with our Trust Policy, this is for internal and external candidates at various levels. This includes maintaining a staff database using Excel, producing amendments to contractual hours, and completing the required documentation.
Produce documentation for staff who have applied for maternity/paternity leave.
Type letters around sickness as per Trust Policy.
Organise meetings - agendas, minute taking and production of accurate minutes when required.
Ensuring Disclosure and Barring Service checks are up to date, as well as NMC registrations.
Maintaining staff personal files.
